Our Process
All of our software projects use the Agile methodology of software development. We adopt one version of Agile called Scrum. You can learn more about it here. It is great for producing efficient work but not used properly and it can have the opposite effect. Our goal is to help your company implement a version of scrum that makes sense for your current needs. At Unblock our mission is to build the fast working team you need to accomplish YOUR companys vision. This is how we will do it.
1. Transparent
To build high performing teams, everyone MUST communicate with one another often. Scrum meetings will allow new updates to flow smoothly and quickly between all actors in a system.
2. Fast
Scrum is intended to make teams more agile. With constant transparency from management, stakeholders, and customers, teams can quickly and proactively adjust to changes in requirements.
3. Healthy
Since Scrum can help teams work fast, it is important to ensure that the team does not burn out. Scrum includes a dedicated meeting every sprint to discuss team dynamics and any problems, ensuring that no one is overlooked.
4. Iterative
The reason why Scrum allows us to be transparent, fast, and healthy is because it is an iterative process. We hold all Scrum meetings every 1-2 weeks and reflect on smaller iterations that add up to larger accomplishments.
5. Organized
A key part of using Scrum successfully is to ensure that we are organized. Notes and tasks from Scrum meetings can easily be tracked using most task manager tools. Unblock can also help set up your tools to ensure you are getting the most out of Scrum.
6. Quality
If we do all of this properly, we will be able to produce quality work. We all want to be proud of the work we do every day. It is a great feeling to accomplish what we set out to do. Scrum, used properly, will guarantee this outcome!
